What is the Ohio Regional Urban Sketchers Summit?
The Ohio Regional Urban Sketchers Summit is a combined effort of four Ohio Urban Sketchers chapters (Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and Dayton) to hold a seminar that furthers our collective interests through workshops and networking. As of summer 2026, we have hosted summits in Columbus (2022, 2023); Dayton (2024); Cincinnati (2025); and Cleveland (2026).

What is Urban Sketchers?
Urban Sketchers, incorporated as a 501c3 in Washington, USA, is loosely organized group of artists all over the globe. Urban Sketchers is divided into city-level groups who promote the art of urban sketching locally.
The USk Manifesto aims to define what urban sketching is all about. The basic idea behind these 8 points is to provide a unifying vision for the global urban sketching community. We encourage diversity in subject matter, style and technique.
- We draw on location, indoors or out, capturing what we see from direct observation.
- Our drawings tell the story of our surroundings, the places we live and where we travel.
- Our drawings are a record of time and place.
- We are truthful to the scenes we witness.
- We use any kind of media and cherish our individual styles.
- We support each other and draw together.
- We share our drawings online.
