INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHIES
Amy Bogard is an artist and “seeker” currently living and working in Cincinnati, Ohio. When not found doodling in her Illuminated Journal, Amy can be found walking the woods with her dog, Philomena, and hanging out with her family or just exploring and sketching the amazing river town in which she is lucky to live. Like most artists, curiosity is a constant. She enjoys working with artists who think they can't draw and those who consider themselves "beginners" because she loves proving them wrong. …. other interests include (but aren’t limited to) Irish Music, embroidery, traveling, knitting, making soup and day dreaming.
Yuki Hall is an award winning watercolor artist known for her loose style and impressionistic approached to working with the medium. She emphasizes simplicity, effective use of tonal value patterns, fluidity and execution of confident brush strokes. Her work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions. Jeff
is a lifelong Cleveland area illustrator/watercolorist who became
consumed with all things digital once it became practical for creating
art. He soon realized that while it was a great way to make a living, it
wasn’t nearly as fulfilling as creating actual physical art. A member
of the Ohio Watercolor Society, the last several years have found him
concentrating on urban plein air painting of Cleveland. His watercolors
can be found at suntalawatercolors.com and illustration work at suntala.com. He’s participated in the Cleveland Urban Sketchers group since its inception.
Terry Welker, FAIA, is a lifetime sketcher as an architect/sculptor. He was elevated to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows in 2016 for his contribution to the arts.
